A church in the central Chinese province of Jiangxi held a charitable event.
Responding to the call of the CCC&TSPM (China Christian Council and Three-Self Patriotic Movement), Yingtan CC&TSPM organized a charity event at the Tianyin Church on November 25, reported Jiangxi CC&TSPM.
The event featured nine projects, offering believers the opportunity to select donated clothing and other items. Artisans were present to maintain and refurbish old leather clothing and bags, while professionals provided services such as repairing shoes, umbrellas, clothing zippers, and vehicles, as well as sewing clothes. Additionally, seven hairdressers generously offered free haircuts, and medical professionals, including doctors and nurses, provided health consultations and services, including free blood pressure measurements.
The event attracted nearly 1,000 attendees, benefiting over 500 people.
