Research Initiated on Sinicization of Christianity in Guangzhou

A research initiative focused on the sinicization of Christianity has been launched in Guangzhou.

Researchers from the Religious Research Institute of Minzu University of China conducted a field investigation of Church of Our Savior, Guangxiao Church, and Zion Church on August 6th. The investigation centers on "Challenges and Strategies for Urban Pastoral Care in Guangzhou Churches (Field Research)," according to Guangzhou CC&TSPM.

The team's primary focus during this research endeavor includes studying aspects such as the construction of places of worship, pastoral management, church ministries, the sinicization process of Christianity in China, the structure of clergy and believers, as well as the impact of social services on the surrounding communities.
