A training class for assessing and recognizing pastors was held in north China’s Shandong Province.

Dezhou Municipal TSPM hosted the fifth assessment and recognition training course for 51 pastors from April 17 to 21 at Nan'guan Church in Decheng District, said Shandong CC&TSPM.

In his lecture titled "Pastoral Ministry and Pastoral Work", Rev. Wu Jianyin, consultant of the Shandong CC&TSPM, guided pastors to standardize pastoral work and excel in it through questions and interactive exchanges, combining biblical teaching and years of his pastoral experience.

Rev. He Aixia of Shandong Theological Seminary delivered a speech with the title "Theological Construction and Sinicization of Christianity", sharing the life stories and significant thoughts of local Chinese theologians. She guided trainees to learn from the experience of the older generation of pastors in developing Christianity in the Chinese context, encouraging the innovative application of this knowledge towards practical work to transform Christianity in China into Chinese Christianity.
