“Excuse me, young man, may I ask you what place this is? I can’t find the nursing home in Jialing Street.” A head of a church in Zhejiang on the southeast coast of China drove an elderly back to a nursing home.
An 80-year-old woman was wandering alone on August 4in Yunxi Park where Jiaojiang Church is located. Kong Ge, the head of the church in Taizhou, ran forward with another believer to ask her about the situation, taking her in a trance to the cool and ventilated area of the church to sit down. After asking for a long time, Kong learned that she was living in a nursing home in Jiazhi Street.
As they couldn’t get a taxi for a long time due to the hot weather, Kong drove the woman, Mrs. Hong, back to the nursing home by himself. In the car, he told her not to go out and walk at will under the COVID-19 pandemic, and that she should communicate with her children more and not walk alone outside.
After that, the old woman was delivered to the person in charge of the nursing home.
