To help children with Down Syndrome integrate into community life and peer groups, a Christian charity organization in China’s eastern-coastal Jiangsu Province plans to host a summer camp for them in mid-July.
On its official WeChat account on June 17, Reed’s Home in Zhenjiang City said it is recruiting about 15 volunteers and ten children having Down Syndrome aged 10-18. The registration fee is 200 yuan per child.
In addition to interactive games, trainers will teach painting, dance, and music, as well as essential life skills.
