Eight seekers asked to be baptized after a communion service, which was an "unexpected harvest" in a Liaoning church.
As the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic was under control, Changtu Church in Tieling, China’s north-eastern Liaoning Province last Sunday launched the first communion service after the recent resumption of in-person gatherings. Following the COVID-19 protocols, churchgoers entered the sanctuary, singing the hymn Kneeling With a Humble Heart.
After the sermon titled God’s Desire by Rev. Zou Fengren, a communion was led by Elder Chen Yu who raised and gave thanks with the bread and cup, and the congregation observed the sacrament.
At the end of the service, eight seekers asked to be baptized.
