In light of the current pandemic situation, Guangyin Church and Gracious Light Church issued notices to reopen respectively on August 27 and 28, reminding their congregations to attend services on the premise of maintaining sufficient personal protection.
According to the Chengdu Municipal Health Commission of Sichuan Province, there were no new confirmed cases or asymptomatic infections on August 24, with three new cases discharged from the hospital. As of August 24, 23 confirmed cases in the city were under isolated treatment at designated hospitals; 33 cases of asymptomatic infections were subject to centralized isolation and medical observation; 435 close contacts were undergoing quarantine at collective medical observation centers.
