Staff workers of Hangzhou CC&TSPM donated 50,000 yuan to a local autistic children rehabilitation center on June 23.
In an announcement released in their WeChat group, Zhejiang Agape Autistic Children Rehabilitation Center stated that they lacked money for renewal as the lease of the venue was approaching, according to Hangzhou CC&TSPM.
According to the announcement, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the foundation’s fund-raising declined sharply, and the charity assistance faced difficulties. “The center has financial problems, as the saying goes, ‘A man without money is no man at all”, they said.
The center is a provincial private non-enterprise unit organized by the Zhejiang Provincial CC&TSPM, under the supervision of the Zhejiang Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau. Practicing the teachings of “Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody”, the center focuses on the disadvantaged groups in society to promote the great love of Christ.
The Hangzhou CC&TSPM received another honorary certificate from the center on the same day.
