On August 29, 2020, volunteers from Jiaojiang Church in Taizhou, China's coastal-eastern Zhejiang Province, went to visit a home for persons with disabilities in Fuying Street, Xianju County.
Presenting 100 moon cakes to the elderly residents, they also participated in the charity activities of a municipal association, according to JiaoJiang Church.
In the morning, the volunteers distributed the moon cakes to the disabled, and together with them celebrated the Chinese traditional Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day in advance.
Kong Aiqing, who was in charge of the volunteers, sang "Dedication of Love," and moved the audience to sing in unison. “As long as everyone gives a little love, the world will become a beautiful world. Ah, as long as everyone gives a little love, the world will become a beautiful world...”
At the end of the party, some volunteers helped the disabled with their work project, and then they made dumplings together. Mr. Kong also gave a fire safety class for more than 50 villagers, including the disabled, primary school student volunteers, and blue ribbon volunteers.
"Thanks to the Jiaojiang Church for their love of the disabled brothers and sisters. The moon cakes are delicious and sweet, and we are happy and moved. Praise the Jiaojiang Church!" said Yang Lanjiao, the most beautiful disabled person in Zhejiang.
