On the evening of Oct 8, on the fourth floor of the comprehensive building, the young adult fellowship of Qingyang Church in Fujian Jinjiang hosted the "2016 Bible Knowledge Contest." The purposes of the contest was to enhance the believers' comprehension of the Bible, examine the result of the Bible reading plan, encourage the brothers and sisters to better understand the Bible, and understand the Word of God.
The contest had 6 sections: group questions, required questions, quick response questions, bonus questions, risk questions and interesting search of guo. By drawing lots, the contestants were divided into three teams: teenage team, teacher team, and young adult team. Each team had one chance ask a bystander for an answer and 2 chances to look answers up in the Bible (non digital). After 6 rounds of tough competition, team1, team 3 and team2 ranked first, second and third place respectively.
Jinjiang Qingyang Christian Church was originally built in the 15th year of the Qing Dynasty's Emperor Guangxu. The new church building was completed on December 25, 1992. The young adult fellowship was the first fellowship of the church. The fellowship is composed mainly of young adults. Through different ministries the young believers pursue growth in their spiritual lives together and build loving relationships as members of God with each other.
