On Dec 10, 2016, the 2016 Religion and Rule of Law Symposium was held in Beijing, with the theme of "religious legislation and transmission."
It was co-hosted by Center for People's Congress and Foreign Legislature Study (CPCS) of Peking University Law School and Beijing Pushi Institute of Social Sciences.
More than 20 experts, scholars, religious people and lawyers from universities, law firms and associations including China University of Political Science and Law, University of Macau and National Central University addressed speeches. They discussed around four topics respectively: "religious legislation and management", "the legal relation between religious groups and venues", "the legal issues of Internet religious Information transmission" and "religious venues and transmission".
On August 1st, the 2016 Religion and Rule of Law Symposium was also conducted in the capital of China, discussing "religious legal person & religious charity".
