China's yearly commemoration of "Tomb-Sweeping Day" is known to be a day when Chinese people pay respects the deceased and now, it has been extended to their dead pets.
During Spring in China, it is a time think of the past. During Qingming or mostly known as "Tomb-Sweeping Day" millions of Chinese people visit the cemeteries to pay tribute to their dead loved ones which in the recent years has been extended to their pets.
The traditional holiday falls on April 4 this year but there are people who could not wait until today and have already visited the tombs of their loved ones since last two weeks. They also gave sweeping to the dusty tombs of their loved ones and pets.
Along with the tradition, cemeteries where not just the family members are buried but as well as Chinese people's pets is no different with human's grave as owners put heartfelt message to their pets, too.
"For those who never raise a pet, it's indeed hard for them to understand the meaning of this," gravestone designer Zhang Youwang reportedly said, "...but pets are just like people. They are people."
