Liu Luping, 57yo, General Manager of a famous company, Futai Stone in Guizhou, also the President of the Guizhou Christian Association of Industry and Commerce. He is a devout Christian and all his life he has committed to serve and glorify God.
When it comes to God's grace, Liu Luping quotes unceasingly, "Though I am from the third generation of Christians, but with the grace of God upon me, He can be talked about endlessly."
Liu Luping says that he has operated his own company for more than 20 years. Though it was very difficult in the beginning, and there have been three times of serious danger and imminent collapse, Liu Luping always firmly believed the leading of God and persisted in prayer. Even in such a difficult situations, Liu Luping has also been keeping the habit of making contributions to the church and he has never stopped.
Liu Luping says, "I put my life and my company in God's hands. I pray to God and say, 'God! You are fully in charge of the company and I also want to work for you in the future.' God really listens to my prayer! He leads me step by step out of difficult dilemmas and makes the company better slowly."
Liu Luping experienced God's protection in the explosion in Fuquan city in a certain year and he is still concerned whenever he recalls that experience. He said, "One day, the boss who planned to see the mechanic came on the arranged time, but after we saw each other, I suddenly thought that I also had to invite them to drink a cup of tea as proper etiquette! So I just delayed his departure for around twenty minutes." Those twenty minutes protected Liu Luping from death.
When he arrived at the place, he knew instantly knew that there had been a big explosion and hundreds of people were dead. The whole sky was filled with fog and smoke. Now every time he recalls those memories, Liu Luping cannot help but praise God, "If not for the help of the Holy Spirit, I would not have suddenly thought of drinknig a cup of tea. Everything was under God's protection!"
Liu Luping also experienced God's miracle for a man who was supposed to die. One foreman on his site contracted pancreatitis and went to the hospital but the doctors said that he could not be healed there and sent him off to go to another hospital. Liu Luping and his brothers and sisters in church prayed together for the foreman day and night. Half a year later, the foreman was healed and well, even doctors were surprised, saying it was a miracle.
Liu Luping's devout faith also brought changes to his wife. Liu Luping's wife was a Buddhist before and worshipped Budda for nearly 20 years in their home. After seeing Liu Luping's faith, she felt the work of God slowly from her husband. Liu Luping had a quick temper before and they would quarrel with each other after only a few words. But after Liu Luping started trusting God with all his heart, his wife found that his temper increasingly changed, even when his wife was impatient. He would use God's word to console her. Liu Luping's wife witnessed the truth of God from her husband and she was also baptized into Christ in October this year.
Now, Liu Luping's children also serve in the church and participated in the worship group. Liu Luping admitted that his children's faith is growing up step by step. Previously, a Bible school bought stone materials for the door in Liu Luping's company. Liu Luping sent his children to the school to get the sizes, but his children were moved with compassion after hearing the principal talked about the poor students on campus. His son came back to discuss with his father and gave the stone material to the school for free.
Today, Liu Luping still persists on doing dedications every month and helping nearly 10 poor students. Liu Luping said, "This is not my company. This is also the industry of God. I am a Christian and must keep my own identity in mind. I must run the company with confidence, conscience and love and work hard to love God andpeople and to glorify God.
