Zhongnan Theological Seminary in Hubei recently held a lecture themed "From Indigenization to Sinicization of Christianity."

On May 30-31, Rev. Yan Xiyu from Jiangsu's Nanjing Theological Seminary delivered a lecture to the entire faculty and student body of the institution, according to Hubei CC&TSPM.

Rev. Yan discussed the process of moving from indigenization to the sinicization of Christianity from diverse perspectives, including the background, emergence of the Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM), deepening of theological construction within TSPM, and strategic significance of Sinicizing Christianity. This lecture offered practical and feasible pathways for localized theological education and research in China, facilitating the integration of Christianity into Chinese society.
