A summer training course centered on the theme of the "Sinicization of Christianity" was organized by Fujian Theological Seminary.

On July 20, the event drew more than 200 participants, encompassing faculty members, students, grassroots pastors, and representatives of believers, said CCC&TSPM.

Rev. Yue Qinghua, chairman of Fujian CC&TSPM and president of the seminary, expressed the institution's commitment to nurturing scholarly pastors, deeming it their sacred mission.

The training course consists of three sessions. In the first session, Professor Zhang Zhigang, dean of the Institute of Religious Culture at Peking University and vice president of the Chinese Association of Religious Studies, delivered a lecture titled "Research on the Sinicization of Religion and the Laws of World Religious History." Subsequently, during the second session, Dr. Li Lin, doctoral advisor from the Department of Religious Studies at the School of Philosophy, University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (UCASS), presented a discourse titled "Five Paths of Sinicization of Islam." Lastly, the third session featured a lecture titled "An Introduction to Dialectical Theology in Christianity," delivered by Yang Huaming, a master's tutor at the Institute of World Religions, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS).
