A youth revival conference was conducted at a church in Huizhou, Guangdong, to celebrate China’s Youth Day, which falls on May 4.

A total of 388 youths (including pastoral workers) from multiple churches across the city participated in the Second Youth Revival Conference held by Huizhou CC&TSPM at its affiliated Grace Church, said Huizhou TSPM.

Rev. Zhan Shaochu, chairman of the municipal TSPM, explained that Youth Day was established to commemorate the 1919 May Fourth Movement, which was a patriotic campaign launched by Chinese youth against imperialism and feudalism and marked the beginning of China's New Democratic Revolution.

The revival conference consisted of a morning session and an afternoon session.

In the morning, based on Ecclesiastes 12:1, Rev. Han Joseph preached a sermon titled "Remember your Creator," exploring the ultimate questions of "Who am I," "Who is He," and "What shall I do." Han elaborated on the purpose of God's creation of man as well as the responsibility of Christians as children of God. He encouraged Christians to love God wholeheartedly, listen to the voice of Him, and invite the Lord into their lives.

In the afternoon, Rev. Chen Yanqun, combined with hot instances of network communication, shared a sermon titled "I heard...," citing Isaiah 6:1–8. Chen guided the youth to obey God's commands with a pure heart in three scenes in the passage of the Bible. Seraphs were calling to each other, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory," in the year that King Uzziah died and the Lord was seen seated on a throne. One seraph proclaimed, "See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for." And the Lord asked, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?"

After the two sermons, there were also group discussions and members speaking on stage. Many youths expressed their willingness to dedicate themselves to serving God and devote their lives to Him.
