Rev. Andrew Palau, son of the late international evangelist Luis Palau, visited CCC&TSPM and Nanjing Union Theological Seminary in early December.

According to CCC&TSPM, a delegation of 12 people from the Luis Palau Association (LPA) recalled years of friendship with CCC&TSPM and talked about the current major ministries on December 7.

Introducing the development of the church in China after the COVID-19 pandemic and new challenges and initiatives in church ministry, Rev. Wu Wei, president of the China Christian Council (CCC), told them about the achievements of CCC&TSPM in Bible publication and writing ministry. He also explained the establishment of the three-self principles (self-governance, self-support, and self-propagation) from a historical perspective, along with the concept and goals of sinicizing Christianity. Rev. Palau also invited Wu to visit their headquarters and preach at churches in the U.S.

The next day, the delegation visited the Nanjing Union Theological Seminary and participated in a morning prayer meeting at the auditorium. The son of the founder of the LPA was invited to share a sermon.

Under the topic of "The Birth of Jesus," Rev. Palau recounted the deep friendship between the LPA and the Church of China, emphasizing the significance of Jesus' birth in bringing peace, joy, and hope to the world based on his own experiences of grace.

After the morning prayers, both hosts and guests had an exchange regarding theological education, the sinicization of Christianity, and the gospel ministry.

Since the death of his father, Luis Palau, who established the LPA in 2021, Andrew has taken charge of the work of the LPA and visited China multiple times.
