The chairman of Guangdong provincial TSPM was invited by Hong Kong and Macau to preach and join in pastoral ordinatin.

Rev. Fan Hongen, chairman of Guangdong TSPM, gave a sermon with the title of An Unknown Evangelist in Macau Sheun Tao Church on September 5, exhorting the congregation not to listen to, believe in, or spread rumors when facing the coronavirus pandemic, according to CCC&TSPM. Believers were urged to pursue the truth of the Bible, establish good faith and preach the pure gospel of Christ, instead of being credulous with comments of the end of the world.

In the afternoon, the Christian Shuen Tao Church Hong Kong & Macau District Union Association held an ordination ceremony for four staff workers. Being an officiating guest, Rev. Fan appointed one of the new pastors.

CCC&TSPM added that this was the first step in the implementation of sacramental cooperation under "one country and two systems", opening up a new situation of close exchanges between churches in Guangdong and Macau.
