A Fujian church was awarded the honorary title of "Charity Group Against Pandemic" by the local government.
In addition to donating nearly 10,000 yuan worth of anti-pandemic materials to the Tingtang community, Tingtang Church mobilized 215 believers to serve as volunteers in September last year, distributing 800 meals, CCC&TSPM reported.
On January 20, together with cadres from Tingtang Village Committee, officials from Dongqiao Town, Putian City, went to present the honorary title to the church.
