Chengbei Church in Changsha, Hunan, is tentatively scheduled to resume Sunday service on November 7, while the weekly gatherings have been restarted since September 1.

On its official WeChat account last Friday, the church issued an announcement, stating that the roof repair and exterior renovation were nearing completion but Sunday services were currently suspended considering factors such as safety and the recent COVID-19 prevention and control guidelines.

It said that the specific time of resumption of Sunday worship would be officially announced on November 5, reminding believers to pray for the church amid the coronavirus pandemic and the reopening of the venue.
