Guangxi CC&TSPM held a training course for reporters on the afternoon of April 27, in order to "strengthen the information exchange and do a good job in news reporting within local churches".

Rev. Wang Conglian, chairman of the Guangxi CC&TSPM (Christian Council & Three-Self Patriotic Movement), said that Christianity was a religion that expounded its ideas in writing. God revealed his will and truth through apostles and prophets in the Bible which had changed the times and influenced the history of human civilization.

Rev. Wang pointed out that the training course was to improve the reporting work in this autonomous region. It was hoped that through the centralized training, reporters would begin to highly value this work and report the news more normatively and smoothly. He said that reporters all over the region shouldered the burden of expounding the ideas in writing and recording the history of churches.

During the training, Rev. Li Yanfeng, secretary-general and director-general of the Guangxi CC&TSPM, explained in detail the assessment regulations of reporters and the requirements for submission of manuscripts. Combining the actual situation, he also guided them on how to carry out journalism.
