On September 15 and 16, 2020, Jilin CC&TSPM held an ordination ceremony in Changchun, during which 20 pastoral staff were appointed as pastors.

At the church on West Fifth Road in Nanguan District, pastoral staff from Changchun, Songyuan, Siping, and Gongzhuling were ordained, seven of whom are women and one Korean.

On the 16th, Jilin CC&TSPM held an ordination ceremony at the Christian Thanksgiving Church on the Beijing Road, Chuanying District, Jilin. Four workers, including a woman, were ordained.

Pastor Chen Xihe gave a sermon titled, "Follow Christ as a Sacrifice” taken from Romans 15:5. He emphasized that God's servants cannot evade their social responsibilities. Taking responsibility involves God's and believers' hopes for us. Pastors should be good examples for believers.

After the pastors were introduced, they received their sacramental robes. After the ceremony, conducted by Pastor Ren Dazhong, the newly ordained pastors were given their sacramental vestments, presented with a Bible and their certificate of ordination.

The Jilin CC&TSPM held the ceremony with the support of department leaders in Changchun, Jilin, Siping, Songyuan, and Gongzhuling, who were present to congratulate them. Because of the pandemic, Jilin CC&TSPM simplified the procedures. Each of the pastors was only able to invite 10 co-workers to be present at the ceremony.
