An exhibition hall dedicated to the sinicization of Christianity was inaugurated at Yanjing Theological Seminary in Beijing.
The ceremony was attended by municipal officials, religious group leaders, and members of Beijing CC&TSPM, as well as students and faculty of the Yanjing Theological Seminary, on September 22nd, said the minicipal CC&TSPM.
This center, which receives funding from Beijing CC&TSPM, aims to showcase the historical legacy, Chinese customs, and accomplishments of the localization strategy that the Christian community in Beijing follows.
Spanning an area of 200 square meters (0.0494 acres), the cultural exhibition hall is divided into four themed sections, representing awakening, practice, development, and deepening in the process of the sinicization of Christianity. Through multimedia technologies such as sound, light, and projection, it provides a multi-dimensional and focused presentation of the developmental journey of developing Christianity in the Chinese context.
