Yesterday, Jiang Peirong, a famous education expert among the Chinese Christian community,  shared that she and her husband had made a full recovery after being infected with COVID-19.

The expert in child development and training said that on her WeChat platform named Jiang Peirong, after she released the article entitled Dancing with the Coronavirus: Diary of Our Coronavirus Adventure last week, "We were infected 30 days ago and are now fully recovered. We’ve been asymptomatic for more than 10 days. We have also been re-tested and the result is negative".

"Life with a fully recovered body which has antibodies for coronavirus is unimaginably freeing. That kind of freedom is not something that money can buy, because there is nothing to worry about and nothing to fear. " She thanked her many friends for their prayers and love: "Thank you so much for your prayers, encouragement and messages filled with love and kindness. Every cell in us has been infiltrated and transformed by the grace brought by the novel coronavirus."

"On the morning of July 20, my muscles began to feel sore," Jiang recalled in Dancing with the Coronavirus: Diary of our Coronavirus Adventure, which was released a week ago. On Friday of that week, she found out she had a fever, and her son insisted that she be tested. "I didn't think I had the virus because I only had mild cold symptoms," she said. But in order to make peace with him, I went for the test, and the result surprised me! The doctor’s diagnosis showed that I was infected with novel coronavirus!" The couple then began to actively fight against the virus, and finally Jiang Peirong began to show a significant improvement nine days after the onset of symptoms. On the 10th day, she was completely fine and asymptomatic, and her husband Lin Weiqian was also improving.

During the process, she felt that "When we take good care of our health, our health will provide us with enough capacity to resist the virus on the day we need it. Our bodies are the temples of God, and we need to take good care of our bodies and maintain them."

She also shared, "When God gives us times to completely stop and rest in Him, we are completely intoxicated in the long, deep love, grace and mercy that he has poured down from above. We can tell you the details of what's happening in our bodies at any given time, even the various aspects of pain. We can't help but tell you that something more important is happening to us -- that our spirituality is being renewed in his grace. This is more important information that cannot be quantified or recorded by data. But this fact is more real than any temporary illness."

"We need not flinch from the novel coronavirus. This was not the first cataclysm God has seen. We are not depressed or frightened by the arrival of a different way of suffering and dying. We continue to show God's grace through our own lives, to live out the fragrance of life that no disease or disaster can ever take away. That's the real good news, and we must not forget to celebrate it every single day of our lives. Each breath is possible through his grace -- the novel coronavirus reminds me of the one thing I forget to be grateful for every day. Our bodies are all decaying day by day, and one day we are all going to die. But our souls are also renewed day by day."
